Forgan Arts Centre and Big Rock Records join forces once again to bring you an afternoon and evening of live music and art activities at Lughnasadh Art and Music Festival
Join us on Saturday 1 August, from 2–9pm, for a vibrant afternoon and evening of outdoor live music, family-friendly art activities, and delicious local food and drink, all set within the Centre’s beautiful grounds and garden.
Taking to the stage this year are pioneering, songwriting powerhouse Hen Hoose Collective; electro-acoustic-psych-pop master Pictish Trail with his full band; singer-songwriter (and founding member of The Delgados & Chemikal Underground) Emma Pollock; electronic duo Death Party Roller Disco; saxophonist/composer Matt Carmichael, and Dundee garage soul band Holy Snakes, with the Funky Gunners DJ Collective keeping the beats going between acts.
Lughnasadh celebrates our connection to nature and is one of the four festivals we host annually that marks the turning of the Celtic wheel. Alongside live acts will be a full programme of art activities, plus delicious local food and drinks.
