Mould Fashioned is a small-scale mould-making and casting service run by David McDiarmid Studio in Glasgow’s East End, supplying ready-made and bespoke moulds for casting projects.

What do you offer?

Perhaps you want to cast an object in a material such as jesmonite, plaster, concrete, resin or wax. You might need to make a mould in order to do this but you’re not sure how to go about it!

I offer a service in which we can make a bespoke mould to suit your casting projects. I can also cast objects for you.

Alternatively if you have some knowledge of mould-making and casting already and just need a bit of advice, I can work with you on a consultancy basis.

How it works

First of all, I offer a free initial chat to discuss your project further and see where I might be able to help.

Next, I provide a quote for the works – based on either:

• commissioning me to make moulds and/or cast objects on your behalf

  or,

• Working with you on a consultancy basis if you intend to make the moulds and/or cast objects yourself.

I charge £30 per hour plus material costs.
