This is an opportunity for artists, students, studios, and organisations to collect free materials and furniture that have been saved from going to waste.
Our last sharing event was hugely popular, with a wide range of items going quickly to new homes across the arts community. Expect plenty of useful resources this time too — available on a first come, first served basis.

CAN Sharing Events are a way to redistribute surplus resources directly to the creative community. In 2024–25 alone, CAN has rehomed thousands of items and reducing the amount of valuable material sent to landfill.
This event is organised in partnership with Glasgow School of Art, as part of CAN’s ongoing programme of redistribution and reuse.
